Services

When the numbers do not add up, find out exactly why.

Money leaves a building in ways the monthly P&L never shows — payroll that does not match the schedule, vendors that quietly drift, management fees and intercompany transfers nobody has reconciled. We trace it to the transaction and write it up so an owner, a lender or a lawyer can act on it.

When communities call us

  • Payroll is out of line with census and schedules, and the explanations keep changing
  • An owner, lender, receiver or buyer needs an independent accounting of what happened in the building
  • Vendor, management-fee or related-party charges look wrong and nobody inside can say so
  • Resident trust funds, deposits or refunds will not reconcile
  • Funds moved between entities and the trail has to be rebuilt from bank records

What the work includes

  • Payroll forensics: hours paid against schedules, timeclock, PBJ submissions and census — overtime patterns, ghost and duplicate employees, rate changes without authority
  • Accounts payable and vendor review: duplicate payments, pricing drift, split invoices, related parties, services never delivered
  • Funds tracing across entities and accounts from bank statements, with every transfer documented
  • Lease, management-agreement and intercompany compliance against what the contracts actually say
  • Resident trust fund and deposit reconciliation to the penny
  • A written findings memo with exhibits, sized in dollars, prepared for owners, lenders and counsel

Operators who know where to look.

This is not an audit and we are not a CPA or law firm; where a matter needs either, we work alongside yours and hand them a clean, exhibited file. What we bring is the operator's eye: we know what a nursing home payroll should look like at 88% census on a Saturday night, and we notice when it does not. Findings are reported as findings — we do not speculate about intent.
